Almost 40 Knox College students were elected recently to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's most prestigious academic honor society. Knox's chapter is the fourth oldest in Illinois and the first at an exclusively undergraduate, four-year liberal arts college in the state.

The purpose of this sorority is to assemble the women of Carthage College in the spirit of service to humanity. It serves to develop friendship among women of all races and creeds. Through Pi Delta Chi women have the opportunity to serve the community in various ways. 10 service hours are required each semester for membership.
Student Government Association is an organization committed to serving the Carthage student body. Delegates are devoted to improving campus life for the entire community and work closely with the Office of Student Life and the Office of the President to achieve this goal.
